This type of Module-Module Connector creates only a vertical connection. It is typically used when it is necessary to have a high amount of IO connections between two FPGA modules. In such a case the two FPGA modules are stacked on top of each other. If no additional horizontal connection is needed, this Module-Module Connectors can be used. The Module-Module Connector 240120v creates 306 IO connections between two stacked modules. If a Module-Module Connector 240120v is at hand, it can be replaced by a Module-Module Connector 240v together with a Module-Module Connector 120v.
